• Running, biking and training…Oh, my!

    I’m preparing to dance with dirt!

    Autumn is approaching and I need to get ready! I have signed up for a few really fun events that should keep me in shape! Signing up for these events is really fun and it motivates me to keep healthy.

    Here are some highlights:

    In September, I have been asked to join a “Dances with Dirt” team for a second year! This is a great day out on the trails with friends, relaying overĀ a 50 mile distance. Adventure, mud and beer at the finish: What’s not to love?

    Also in September, my husband and I will be biking 30 miles around Detroit in a “Tour de Troit,” a leisurely paced view of the “D.” I can’t wait to share in the good times and enjoy these miles on my bike.

    Later, in October, I have two 5K’s that I have signed up for. One is a run for brewed cider (with a good friend) and one is a superhero run with my youngest son, who is signed up for a cross country class this Fall.
